Everything about his creation shows how fucking little the industry knows about people in general. Not only is he a blank slate character meant to shut black people up he's the poster boy of this "bullshit diversity" movement. To continue the Ultimate Spider-Man universe after they killed Peter. As another black person, I don't mind him but I'll say he's poorly written.
I don't mind the "diversity" but at this point, where it seems like they're just replacing or adding a colored version of an already established hero, it is getting annoying.


I didn't mind his ultimate run but he didn't feel like a spider-man besides the powers. At this point where he's in the main universe with Peter, who's still spider man, he's rather pointless.
Either Give him a name change, or put him in early retirement. They don't have to kill him but stop calling him spider-man.

Yeah, he's there, but why? How did he gained his powers? Does he idolize Peter? What Peter thinks about him?

There was a cross-over between him, Peter and Tony, but they hardly touched on any of this. Currently he's just there and that's it.

What bothers me is I think that Spider-Men cliffhanger where Peter looked up miles in his universe basically means nothing now.

I think the only thing I like about Miles being in the main universe is Bombshell is there now as well, but they haven't even done much with her. I think he talked with her pre-Civil War 2 but that was it.

He wasn't voted to die or at least the story's not like it's been portrayed. O'Neil admitted that some nerd set his computer up to auto-dial and vote for Todd to die every 90 seconds for 8 hours. This came out to around 320 votes from one person for his death. "Live" lost by 72 votes.

Granted I don't like the character and definitely prefer that it eventually gave us Tim Drake but he got gypped hard by one autist.
