>nobody ever talking about this absolute fucking /co/ kino
From the GOAT old-school handdrawn scapes, to the encapturing universe with all the innovative weapons and shit to fucking MAELSTROM this show still hits home after over a dozen years. Yet as a kid, I only remember like one other kid knowing what I was on about when talking about this show.
Fantasy done fucking right, despite the storytelling being a tad too fairytaleish in quite a few parts. Posting fucking Maelstrom.

More than 25 years. Man just too good for its time.

I had to take solace that the Genesis game was the only way to find conclusion to the story.
>Ren going down the hole in Andorus to find the Third Treasure
>"This party is all mine"
I don't know what it is about that show anons

My man, this was my absolute favorite show growing up. My mom and I would watch this and after I came home from school, we'd get our asses handed to us by the SNES game. I actually named her dog Tula after the female lead only 3 years ago. She recognized it right away.
Funny story, she was gonna name me Ren (was born before the show aired) but changed it last minute. Thank God, really. Ren and Stimpy would've made school life hell.

thank the heavens she wasn't too fond of god damn IOZ then desu anon

haha no. Like I said, I was born before this show and it was mainly coincidence that the show I loved had a lead with the name she wanted for me. Ioz would've been so weird, I couldn't imagine.
The fucking Constrictus gave me nightmares.
anyone played the game? any good?
Dont fucking forget the episode where two frog wizards capture bloth and ren and force them to work together on an island arena all while they bet on which will die first
Fuck this was a good watch

Keep using /v/ memes, and one day you will find yourself with a knife buried in your back.
I still have the toys somewhere.
So this had storyboards by Jim Woodring and Gil Kane, cool.

I completely forgot about this show, until I was lucky enough to find the first six issues of the comic book series at this annual book sale.
I loved the fuck out of this show. That baby leviathan episode was hilariously shit though. Why the fuck would you make a fucking sea serpent sound like a baby unicorn?
