How does the movie compare to the comics?

Dark Knight is a very faithful movie. Heath Ledger was great.

About as well as you would expect.

They both died and went to hell.

The move follows bits of the comic, but it's kind of its own thing. Both are pretty good. The comic is also a million times more violent though.
