I think this confirms us for an AugustusxLucy end because at this point and with this revelation there are no options left story wise.

Paulo can't get with Lucy because he essentially missed his chance and because of his thing with Rachel, Daisy and his overall lack of maturity.

Mike can't get with her because of all the shit that happened between them and also because as much as Mike was Lucy's security blanket, Lucy was Mike's Sandy substitute when she was out of reach.

Augustus can't get with Daisy because he puts her on a pedestal and she still likes Mike which will follow her into every relationship until she gets over it.

So all that together along with the fact that they trust each other more than anyone else and the fact that he saved her life is likely going to set up their eventual relationship.

Also them getting together would cause the most drama and that's what everyone's here for.

It could, but generally they only hold you for I believe two days if you come to them saying you're a danger to yourself and others.

The main reason I think she hurt herself is how her family was acting in breaking up. They'd still be extremely upset and concerned if Lucy had told them she felt suicidal and asked to see a psych, but they wouldn't be nearly as grim or frantic. They seemed absolutely terrified that they could lose her and it seemed a terrible situation had happened. Had she asked for help on her own it would have been a bit less dramatic and have more hope to her family.

It wasn't a black and white situation, Lucy was pretty shit to him at times and the group did pretty much always take her side and jump on Mike. Paulo was mad, Daisy defended Mike, they all had mixed feelings but stayed Mike's friend. It helps that Mike feels like shit about it now.

Thing is, the actual author isn't all that bad. Daisy and Paulo are pretty great. I want them to be a couple eventually but I suspect it won't happen. I didn't really get the appeal of Daisy and Paulo when I first read the comic, but lately they've grown on me a lot.

I can't say I dislike any of the characters though, I'm too emotionally invested in all these cats and dogs. They all have their faults but they're good kids at heart and I just want them to be friends and be able to have slice of life comedy fun together again.

Its really horribleness but I can Serb where it can be funny. Some people may veiw it like when in a cartoon one of the characters says "it can't possibly get any worse right?" And then things immediately get worse. I personaly didn't find it funny because I liked all the passengers too much. When i first read the comic paulo was my least favorite but then after tess was introduced i started to like him a lot. Daisy on the other hand was the best from the start. Even after the carnival thing.

Paulo's characterization is pretty bad at the start of the comic (same goes for most of them though). Once Tess shows up he started to show more sides of himself. Paulo really shines in his moments with Lucy and Daisy. Carry Me is still one of my favorite chapters, Paulo was great there.

I used to be a bit of a Daisy hater actually. I didn't like how passive she could be, how insecure and jealous she was of other girls, or how she was willing to date Abbey despite still liking Mike. But Daisy really is a sweet heart and has a lot of good qualities, she really grew on me.

It was Augustus's influence that got her to that point though. She was always pretty unconfident and insecure, shewasn't being her usual self at the carnival. Augustus wanted to encourage her to be more assertive and go after what she wants, though he had a pretty awful way of going about it. After everything blew up at the carnival she naturally regressed back to her usual self.

Fine, I'll bite.

1. Unlike everyone else having the story revolve around them, Sue fought to have her place in the comic. Rising the ranks from forgettable-punching-bag to forgettable-punching-bag-who-sits-at-the-same-table-as-the-main-cast.

2. She deflects drama like a pro. Nobody ever really talks about this, but Paulo shits on Sue almost as much as he shits on Abbey. Even taking it too far in "Critical Hit" when he says "Nobody even likes you! You should stop pretending to fit in and go back to your gay little drama club." straight to her face. Not only does she reverse that shit straight back at him, she even immediately apologizes and deescalates the situation by talking things out with him like a fucking adult.

3. Mostly opinion here but I think she's just as depraved as the rest of us and enjoys watching this shits-how from an arms-length away. When Mike mentions how Lucy appeared his nightmare, Sue had to hold everything back not to laugh in his face. Even when saying sorry, she was still biting her cheek trying to keep a straight face. She secretly loves the drama unfolding around her, and just tries to play referee when things get out of hand.

Short of tragically killing off Amaya, I don't think Sue can be broken. She's the most emotionally adjusted person in the cast. Even the few flaws she has been shown to have aren't that devastating (better at logical debates than interpreting art, losing a School Secretary election by failing to be popular enough, writing and directing a play with the entire purpose of getting two friends together and not only failing at that, but also critically panned by everyone around her).

Her entire life story is generally being a failure and it doesn't bother her. Her self-confidence should already be catastrophically destroyed but she just deals with it. How do you break someone like her (Aside from Augustus calling her forgettable)?
