I'm like the edgiest fucker around, but Siddell's commitment to his work, improvement of his art, and solid plot cohesion just puts a smile on my face.


Not to ride his dick too hard but he just has something that others in his field(Zack Morrison, Hiimdaisy, Billion Demons Author) don't. His schedule is consistent, and he doesn't lose the thread.

He also handled the Pazkat thing so remarkably well - no token bigot to boo and jeer at them, and a remarkably mature discussion between Annie and Rey about how Kat being gay was a bit weird but nothing to really worry about.

This is a man who has every excuse to go for the "easy" out to writing - but he never does. And we might give him shit because sometimes the plot seems slow, but it never meanders. Seriously god bless this dude.

I want to say I enjoy other webcomics more, but as you said we're 10 plus years now into this comic and there's been an unheard of (in the webcomic world, anyway) consistency in terms of updates, of art quality, of plot quality, etc. Almost everything flows write, there's little that's straight up cliche, the plot advances when it should and slows when it should, there are still mysteries to be found - I can see it going on for another 10 years, if Tom has the ideas to pull it off.

And to know that it's coming from a single person is even more impressive.
