CN is actively sabotaging itself and its become pretty clear that they intend to just ride it out as long as they can with TTG. Despite the backlash I'll get for it, look at what their doing to Steven Universe. The show barely ever airs, and when it does its just a quick burst over a week. Its actually hard to watch because its so much to watch, only to have to wait an unknown period of time before you can watch it again.
