I grew up tech literate, right on the edge of it happening to all kids. And I just watched the tech we all used start being cheaper and faster and easier for everyone to use, with nothing but your hands. Toddlers can use ipads. They're growing up with them. It's tech spreading faster to everywhere. It's fucking surreal.

My cousin once told me about a study she was in as a student, shit at a MA brain college, where she and a kid about ten years younger than her were given a collection of various tech items by a group of scientists. And they were just told, you know, open them, set them up, use them, discuss, while they watched and studied them do so. Sometimes they'd make them do it with no speaking allowed, just gestures.

It's apparently a creepy fucking phenomena to certain age categories how a lot of younger generations can just be handed a tech item and very quickly figure it out without even needing a manual. The way she and the kid talked, or didn't, and just intuited together how each item worked is now a skill we nearly all have as the growing generations.

What really gets to me is how well done and fluid the stop motion videos are. Such a waste of talent.
