His stuff always has a lot of detail, intense poses, unique compositions and all that stuff but it's like once he draws, he's not aware of what looks cool or not. It's kind of a waste. Like, slapping a goofy face onto good structure still ruins it.

I reread them. The art held up a lot better than I thought it would. But that's because a lot of his covers and stuff he did after Ultimates look kind of subpar.
