I doubt I'm the first too notice but I haven't seen anyone else mention this.

If you were to start watching Rogue One at the moment the Rebel comms officer hears the transmission of a rebel incursion on Scarif and runs to Mon Mothma, the movie would stand on its own and make 99% narrative sense without watching anything before it. The single thing that isn't explained by watching R1 like this is Jyn's Stardust nickname. Every other plot point and character is either readily apparent, explained within this last part, or is already known to anyone who has seen the original movies.

The first two thirds of the movie aren't bad really, they're just not necessary to the main story of the movie.

So I've been playing KOTOR for the first time after hearing all the hubbub, and while it's not a bad game at all (even if it has aged horribly), am I the only one who finds it ironic how people gave TFA shit for being criminally derivative yet KOTOR is also the same? I mean, Taris is Alderaan (with upper Taris also being Coruscant), T3-M4 is R2, HK-47 is a murderous 3PO (and there are more 3PO-like protocol droids in the game too), Zaalbar is Chewbacca, Darth Malak is Darth Vader (bald cyborg Sith Lord), Vandar Tokare is Yoda, the Sith Empire is the Galactic Empire, the Star Forge is the Death Star (McGuffin artifacts the bad guys use), the Jedi get BTFO (not as badly as in before ANH but still). Hell, they've even got a sequence similar to the TIE Fighter attack on the Millennium Falcon as a gameplay feature.

Sheesh. I'm surprised they didn't give Calo Nord green Mandalorian armor, or at least a jetpack.

The Legend of Korra. Outside of Tenzin's kids and Kai, the characters were adults or in their late-teens(and in Book 4 Korra, Mako, Bolin, and Asami were adults).

Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Ahsoka was in her mid-to-late teens for TCW and Anakin and Obi-Wan were adults. And the clones were adults.

Scooby-Doo is still getting made and those characters are drawn and mostly act like adults despite being called kids/teens

But everything involving the Ewoks, including Han and Leia's subplot there drags the movie down too much for it to be in the same level as ESB and ANH

The Black Series is pretty solid, if feeling a little flimsy when moving his limbs, but he stands pretty solidly.

The SHF K2 is smaller and less intimidating than the Black Series, but feels a little more solid and has a working toe joint (which the Black Series ones lack),

Black Series K2 is the one you want if you want him to be as large as he is in the movie.
