I asked Rick Vietch about what the status was about 1963 & he said Alan Moore was just "being Alan" about it. Neither he or Bissette speak to him anymore. he did say he REALLY enjoyed doing it though.

Huh, that's bizarre. I mean, I know Bissette doesn't speak to him anymore because Moore doesn't speak to him anymore (cause he objected to something in the Comics Journal interview that Bissette said). But I hadn't heard that Veitch didn't talk to Alan much. I know he was still collaborating with him during the America's Best Comics days.
