What is /co/'s opinion on Codename: Kids Next Door?
Ironically, it didn't age well at all

It was cool. I Think /co/mrades Forget the numerous marvel references in the show, hell it was essentially SHIELD for kids

I'm in my fucking 20s and I can still remember all the words to the Rainbow Monkeys song.
Yeah. But the later seasons sucked though.

Remember that Christmas Special that had references to X-Men and Fantastic Four?

>They dont like the entire episodes dedicated to the Matrix,Pulp Fiction, and aliens
>>88775674
What was the episode that was a reference to Pulp Fiction? I know that the lice one referenced Alien and Operation R.E.C.R.U.I.T. referenced The Matrix, but I forgot what episode referenced Pulp Fiction.

Remember when the Augustus Gloop/Porky Mich type villain turned out to actually be a little girl?

You mean Henrich?
Loved those episodes. My favorite of them was probably the licorice one.
I liked the earlier episodes better before they revealed that the KND was actually a global organization. Just felt more self contained.
Wasn't there going to be a new kind series or something? Whatever happened to that? A mere goof?

It was just a proof of concept to see if it could drum up enough interest for it to be picked up by Cartoon Network. Currently, there are no plans to go forward with the series.

The show does suffer from going up its own asshole as it progressed, glad it ended when it did. Though the reveal of it being a global organization was in the last episode of season 1 so that was still fairly early on.

Supposedly this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqmHry0Y8D4
But I can't find any proof.

Some of the reference episodes were good, and some went way over the top. The episode about the kids having a snow day was straight up The Battle for Hoth and they didn't even try and hide it.
I really love this show. I didn't really like it when it was airing, but I watched the entire series recently and I have to say, it's very impressive.
