There is a cool SF cartoon that can be directly seen on Adult Swim's website:
http://www.adultswim.com/videos/toonami/scavengers/
Look like it's rather strongly inspired by Moebius.

The man couldn't have the vision because he didn't grab the paperclip when the station blew up. Hope he had a save.
>>88767107
Don't think it works in my country.
>>88767107
that's pretty cool, thanks.
>>88767330
Strange, I live in Belgium and it worked for me.
>>88767552
same here in Germany

>>88767552
>>88767884
doesn't work for me either. somebody rehost somewhere? saw the preview on ew-tube and it seems pretty cool.
>>88767107
that was RAD
>>88767107
That's neat, is it just a short or is it gonna get a series?
>>88769499
It was more than likely meant to be a self-contained short.
Sorry, I tried to find other sources but couldn't. What countries are blocked, by the way?
>>88771197
can't you jus download the vid and rehost elsewhere?
>>88771600
I have no idea how to upload videos from Cartoon Network/Adult Swim
>>88767330
All it has in Italy is a 30 KB mp4 stream of 14 seconds containig a video and an audio containing nothing: http://z.cdn.turner.com/xslo/cvp/assets/video/blank.mp4

>>88772069
Is it the same as this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5X8yyEJtII
pic related is what Inspector shows me of their website from Italy, maybe someone can work out what the blockage is.
>>88773514
>Is it the same as this
Yes.
>>88773853
The YT video is only 16 second trailer, is that really all that you see on adult swim's website?
>>88774205
Oh, I though you lmean't if it was the trailer of the video.
no, the whole animation last 8 minutes.
>>88774296
oh come on... somebody please rip the vid from adultswim and up somewhere else so that everybody can see...
this is like that bullshit with Bravest Warriors and Bee and Puppycat being exclusive to the US only all over again...
>>88774507
I can record a slightly shitty version and upload it to mediafire in like, half an hour.
>>88775265
Do it before this thread die.
>>88775265
>shitty version
how shitty we talkin' here?
>>88775308
Bump it when it gets to page 9.
>>88775806
Some stutters and crackles, I think. I'm not really sure.
Okay Eurofriends, here's a rip of the video.
It's a wonky aspect ratio, kind of fuzzy, and has a little bit of stutter and clicking on the audio (particularly at the end), but it's still watchable.

>all that work for a few moments of escapism
I wasn't ready for that.
>>88778976
I was half expecting them to be lying there dead with their heads in that ball, during the credits.
>>88778976
So it's an allegory for drug use?
>>88780071
It can be.
But escapism isn't just about drugs.
>>88780733
It looked to me like a play on a typical psychedelic drug trip world, that, where when the characters finally get a hit, they experience what's 'normal' to us.
>>88780071
It's an allegory for old adventure games.
>>88767133
If it had been by Moebius, there would have been huge blocks of unnecessary narration explaining exactly what they were doing. It's like the backgrounds of Moebius with the storytelling style of Peter Chung.
