Yeah no. Gumball is hit and miss as fuck. And it miss alot. There are a ton of lame episodes and alot of bad ones. The show is so fucking inconsistent that the characters were rewritten TWICE. This is why the fandom is so divided.

Honestly I think AT gotta have its props. Even in the poorer seasons (also 3 was totally up to par with 1 and 2 dude) it's doing really interesting things all the time and helped define cartoons for this generation for better or for worse.

There's totally cartoons like Gumball that are more consistent and stick with a unified tone better but AT is probably the best of the decade for me.
