Where did it all go so wrong?

Something went wrong enough that when Marvel Now 2 was announced, most of CBR (the site filled with Marvel shills) had a negative reaction to it.
>>88735498
we wanted Marvel Rebirth and they double downed in their current direction, even blatant nostalgia pandering like X-Men Resurrection is plagued with the creative decisions that have made last two years unbearable

They spent money on shills to shitpost Rebirth instead of editors to keep Bendis in check.

>Marvelfag Central turns on Marvel
Damn really makes you think...

By completely destroying their main sellers, they practically guaranteed that being a niche book right now is practically a death sentence. You need to have a solid line of books people would actually read, so that people will gain confidence in the company and stray off and experiment with smaller books. But almost everything is at their absolute worst right now. Spider-Man is boring, Iron Man is complete shit, the X-men is just one big dumpster fire, the events are somehow worse then a dumpster fire, and it just goes on. They have no solid base to work on, so many people have given up on Marvel altogether.

But at least half of them are good.

Why is Blue Beetle in the upper left?

Deodatto drawing terribly terrible characters.
Modern Marvel has really pushed me to the "send the x-men to space or their own universe" camp, the shared universe, in this state, can only make them worse.

>the events are somehow worse then a dumpster fire
It's incredible how they hit a new low by turning CW2 into an ad for other events.

>Deodatto
>drawing
I thought he exclusively used Poser models and Photoshop filters. I'm not sure that qualifies as drawing, per se.

Hey man, a solid five of them are cool.
