In my experience this is the opposite of true.
Furry art seeks to aestheticise the depicted anthros heavily.
It goes only into flattering or sexually arousing details and especially the faces are kept relatively immobile and don't use exaggerated human expressions but idealised animalistic ones Good Boy's face is a cartoony mess when she talks.
She is quite obviously forcing human expressions on a canine face. In this cartoony style she looks less dangerously furry and more dangerously cheesy.
Most drawn movies with a more serious tone would resort to drawing human-like emotions on very stylised faces in order to make them more relatably human to the audience. Furries have often more beastly emotions to match the animal heads they use.
This makes Good Boy a bad compromise because the face of her lycan form is clearly not behaving like a human face but a dog's face, making her attempts a parody of human emotion as soon as she tries to emote as she would with her own face.
