He didn't even take his shirt off in the movie, all of those tattoos were just for marketing and hype, just like that 21 pilots song and that sucker for pain bullshit with every rapper ever and imagine dragons and those guys that sing unsteady and god knows who else on it. They didn't play that shit at all except for a five second audio clip during the credits for each so they could justify tacking it on to the soundtrack.

The entire first third of the movie is chaotic bullshit, the second half feels like a different movie, and then then they manage to pull it all together for a pretty decent ending, but damn they really screwed the pooch on this one.

They should have used a different villain, perhaps taken a note from Assault on Arkham for how to do things interestingly. They shouldn't have used Enchantress at all, or if they absolutely had to, she should have been a stealth/recon agent silent type, maybe have her go haywire towards the end for the big finale.

Really the whole movie was just shoddily put together.

His delivery was just so awful, you don't believe it. At least with the other actors you actually kind of believed they were the Joker and you were just comparing their interpretations, Leto came off like a try hard "I'm da Joka, Baby!" type shit, which really sucks because he had an original look and actually seemed to get the character somewhat, even if he couldn't replicate it.
Also he needed to keep his fucking mouth closed, I get it, they gave you a fancy grill, but that doesn't mean you have to act like that slack jawed, buck toothed, nerdy kid in the back of the class that smells funny.

Plus, he was waaaaay too into Harley, they really fucked up their dynamic.

Was pleasantly surprised with Margot Robbie however. Did not expect her to do as well as she did. Only thing I'd change is have her call Batman "B-Man" during the car chase scene.
Maybe do the Dr Quinzel flashback better, though that was a writing error not one of her own doing

Leto Joker isn't great by any means. His joker acting failed, thus failing to deliver the character. His hair was too tame and his joker makeup just looked like lipstick, so he failed the joker image. His face was too smooth, too flat even, and uneventful other than the ugly grills they kept showing off, so he failed to bring good joker design. The worst part is that a great deal of the joker's image is his crazed look, which Leto couldn't make. He didn't look menacing or sinister, he looked like any average person trying to look psycho (wide eyse and dumb toothy smile) and as a result was more of a joke than a joker.
