Why did they stop making Warhammer 40k comics? Did GW just get cheap?
They didn't stop.
cross-media products compete with the tabletop apparently
>>88694370
Are you talking about the Dark Angel comic that has gotten no hype?
>>88694883
Yes. They didn't stop making them as OP claimed.
>>88695602
Yeah but its way to short and going way to fast
>>88695692
Agreed. We're on part three now and I only feel that we've really got enough material for a part one. Unless this is supposed to lead in to another 4 issue miniseries it's kind of underwhelming.
I know James Stokoe is a big fan of the Black Library books. If they ever partnered with IDW to make comics off their property I would love to see him to something
>>88693104
>Damnation Crusade came out Christmas, 2006
Celebrating ten years of TWINS THEY WERE with actual Battle Sister twins.
>>88697434
>Unless this is supposed to lead in to another 4 issue miniseries
Bingo, that's exactly it, and they even stated as much in the issue 0 and White Dwarf magazine promo article.
>>88699812
I wasn't aware of that.
>>88693104
>just

Search "Games Workshop" books on Amazon, filter by publication date. They are at pages 7-8

>Stokoe 40k
muh dick! Knowing his work schedule I would be surprised if he ever did
>>88697520
He did started a small fan comic of 40k a while ago.
Beak helmet is the best Spess mehreen helmet prove me wrong
>>88707990
If it was the best, it wouldn't be used by shittiest First Founding Legion.
I've never read a warhammer40k comic before, what are the best ones?
Could a Warhammer cartoon work if it was made for adults?
>>88708162
Depends on the subject. I'd watch the shit out of a Ciaphas Cain series though.
>>88698790
are those
are thoseplasticsisters, anon?
well books are cheap and make more money
>>88708135
The oldest Warhammer Monthly ones, specifically the ones set in Necromunda (The Redeemer and Kal Jericho), Titan - God Machine, Bloodquest 1-3 and Deff Skwadron. I also liked Daemonifuge, but it definitely a bit ropey in parts.
>>88707951
Where can one find this?
>>88708498
post mega links
>>88708361
Yes anon. This is not a drill. Real plastic sisters, along with a new Sister Celestine who can explode greater daemons.
Man look at all the other licensed crap they are spewing out, they got really cheap.
>>88708643
>Best warhammer fantasy game comes out
>After they cuck the setting to death
>>88708026
Funnily enough the Raven Guard only got Beakie armour because Peturbo thought it was shit and wanted to troll Corax.
>>88708672SUMMON THE ELECTOR COUNTS
>>88693104
They didn't stop.
Heck, there's a DoW3 comic in the works scheduled for Spring 2017.
>>88701908
How could orks possibly stop killing each other long enough to make this
>>88710097
Option 1: Because they wanted more dakka.
Option 2: Because the warboss really, REALLY wanted a big 'un and he let his boyz know. Repeatedly.
>>88708623
truly this is the Warhammerâ„¢: 40kâ„¢: End Timesâ„¢
>>88698790
>Tankred has endured long enough to see his dream become reality.
Praise the Emperor.

You shut your whore mouth.
>>88710097
bitch that made an artificial moon using grav weapons
>>88702302
TITANICUS
GOD MACHINE
>>88710097
Well it obviously wasn't made by your average ordinary group of grotz and boyz, it was made by a Warboss with a flying machine fetish and a whole lot of spare mekboys
>>88702302
Imagine the noise in that compartiment below the canon when it starts shooting.
>>88710451
Good times.
>>88710097
Orks make massive Gargants all the time, and they are usually the same size as the humans Titans.
The warboss in Deff Skwadron basically got his boyz to make a flying airplane gargant instead.
>>88708361
Yep. New plastic Celestine comes with those two as guards. There's also the first plastic Inquisitor and a plastic Magos who's so augmented that he's the size of a Carnifex. And that's just the Imperial part of Fall of Cadia
IG comic with a soldier from each of the popular regiments working together when?
Why are the orks in Deff Skwadron so bro-tier, while the orks in other 40K stuff are all backstabbing fuckwads constantly looking to fuck each other over.
>Slut Patrol never got finished
The End.

>>88710097
Orks only kill each other when theres nothing better to fight, or they are bored. Mekboys rarely kill each other on purpose, cause they are busy building shit, and if you give Orks something to do, especially if it leads to something ded killy, they will be less likely to kill each other, it's why Orks can amass MASSIVE clunky war machines and lots and lots of bikes and trukks, cause if theres one thing Orks like more than fighting, it's loud, fast, ded killy machines
Trying to find a physical hardcover of this is hard
reprints when
>>88715047
Hopefully soon considering GW have been reprinting their old comics.
I should get a few myself. They are pretty cheap.
>>88715149
>>88715047
I grabbed a ton of books of Black library recently.
Deff Skwadron, Blood and Thunder, Exterminatus, Damnation Crusade, Titan, etc, and they were all 2016 reprints.
Hopefully they reprint some more of their older comics.
>>88707990
Mark IV armor tho, it's at the very least equal to the beakie
>>88715915
Was Deff Skwadron the first Ork thing to start the whole deal where Warbosses have their own little custom commissar hats?
Because I love that.
Grimlug even gave himself a bunch of medals on his big commisar jacket.
>>88716132
Earliest that I'm aware of but it would be surprising if it truly was.
>>88716132
>>88717580
No, this pic is from 2nd ed and Im sure there's one in Rogue Trader as there's plenty of pics in there with Orks dressed in Not!Nazi uniforms.
>>88708361
Yes anon. The wait is over. Soon, we will know true joy. We can have seen celestine, and the future is so bright.
Do anyone has a link to the reprint of daemonifuge? I've never read the ending.
>>88693104
Titan is now the comic book licensee.
>>88697520
If James Stokoe started it now, you'd get the first issue in 10 years
