The problem is that
A) They didn't do more development with it. Almost no kissing or date stuff. The acted the same
B) Ron lost all of his earlier character development and turned into a complete retard, save for the Japan episodes.

And finally C)Ron/Bonnie and Ron/Shego are superior.

I knew it was going to happen because I was already spoiled so it was fun looking for clues. That's why I never thought it was an asspull. I was really looking forward to it. When they started dating I was happily surprised that I finally got to see what happens after the couple ends up together in a cartoon. I thought Ron did maintain his character development, so I don't see what all the criticism is about. He used to be the mascot, and ended up getting into th football team. Ron and Kim held hands, kissed casually and went on dates and everything. Ron even became a Kung fu master.

I think them getting together was a good thing for the show. I love battle couples.

I would've liked this show better if Kim was less of a Mary Sue and not "perfect at everything"
