I usually read the DC archive editions before I get into a book. So, yeah.

Most of the comics I read are either indie or old capeshit. It's the stuff I read whenever Marvel and DC do something that pisses me off. I stop reading what they're publishing currently and go off to explore the medium. Sometimes these breaks can last for years. It's way more productive than bitching about them in the internet.

I exclusively read 70's, 80's, and 90's DC stuff. Modern DC isn't bad, but I won't read any New 52. My collection stops after Justice League: Origin.
