The way I always saw it was that WDC-Tan always thought she would be next in line to rule the Disney corporation when Walt passed on. And had grown very close to him and considered him to be her best friend

And then felt somewhat betrayed when he revealed his children, Disney, XD, etc

She does have a lot of control but the decisions that really matter and are really important lie in the hands of Disney, making WDC's power limited

Trying to find a decent compromise of ideas but what if Walt's will, he tried to divide up the responsibilities between the only two daughters he had at the time(WDC and Disney). Through some form of loopholes, Disney controls which direction she wants the company to go but WDC has to do the tedious part of Disney's desires. The only real power WDC has over Disney is that she's her legal guardian. Their working relationship is akin to Scoutmaster Lumpus and Slinkman. While their home life is more bickering.

The difference with CNW and Nick 2 in the tan world is that Nick 2 doesn't have much to separate herself from normal nick. CNW on the other hand can interact with other tans in ways that CN can't.
Nick 2 needs to be reworked from the ground up so that she can stand out.
