Trying to get a qt girl into comics. She said she wants good comics with a female lead. Horror preferred. I do not know many (notable) comics with female leads, please help.
This is not a troll post.
Pic unrelated.

Saga.
There's a Sabrina series going on right now, I think. Like Sabrina the Teenage Witch, but a mature horror story. It span off of an Archie horror book with an ensemble cast and plenty of females, Afterlife with Archie.

I was going to suggest this too. It's excellent from what I've seen so far.
Perfect for what you're asking
Unironically Gwenpool.
She might like Locke and Key, one of the main characters is a girl. And there's a hot demon guy in it. pretty spooky if you ask me.

I've never read it myself, but you would really recommend it to a new female reader?

>She said she wants good comics with a female lead.
>Horror preferred.
Tomboy is your jam.
Obligatory mention of Kerascoët.
Beauty, Miss Don't Touch Me, Beautiful Darkness.
Not really horror, but at least there is plenty of suffering.

Sabrina is great.
>female lead. Horror preferred
MONSTRESS is the obvious choice. One of the best ongoings right now and it's a horror comic starring a woman.

Persepolis
Promethea
Ms. Marvel, Vol. 3
Wonder Woman: Earth One
Love and Rockets
Hilda the Troll
Today Is the Last Day of Your Life

The Greatest of Marlys
She-Wolf

Clean Room is actually pretty decent, it seems like Simone is putting in effort and the premise gets better overtime.

Catwoman by Brubaker
Manhunter by Andreyko
Supergirl V5
X-23 by Marjorie Liu
>>88627234
I meant Supergirl V6 but the last half of V5 was mostly alright too.
Enigma is one of my favorite comics of all time, I let this girl I like borrow it because she showed interest in our first dates.
She's barely spoken to me lately, I want it back.

Enimga's a great piece of art, but you decided to show a girl you barely know a comic about a guy who used to be a nerd realizing he's gay and manifests comic book villains?

>comic about a guy who used to be a nerd realizing he's gay and manifests comic book villains?
Damn, that sounds nice.
>>88626684
Make her read pic related anyhow, doesn't matter if there's no female lead
Or try Shade the Changing Girl
Or maybe Neonomicon, that has a female lead.
Blue Monday.
Harrow County. Not horror, but instead a southern gothic fairytale. All round brilliant.
Black River

i'm almost positive she's never even cracked it open. Still I was overzealous in trying to connect with her, it is a great piece of art.
>>88627559
it's that, and then not that at all, but still great.
>>88627863
Seconding this.
>>88626684
Isn't this the story where a character gives the main character a case of the gay?
>>88629383
