So, sluggy Freelance basically had a nice two week more or less self contained story and I might as well post it.
To know what'g oing on, there, just get that HeretiCorp is an evil corporation who recently suffered from a bad case of espionage. Those two, in hial, there are more or less to blame, though more due to stupidity and taking things way too personally than actually being willingly complicit.
They are getting punished anyway.

Oh yeah, this place is Paradox Space, this is a where where failed/botched time travel attempt send people to. It's a place outside of time where time is the most precious thing and it fading away means you are frozen in time up until someone give you a bit of its time.
It's not that important to get this story.

Oh yeah, did I mention that to escape Paradox space, you have to actually fall into that big Ocean of forzen time, it's some sort of Riddle no one ever look to. This Green guy is Uncle Time and basically lord over Paradox Space.
He send people back to their own timestream if they managed to solve whatever his riddle is (accidentally or not).
