Since Supes and she don't habitually crush people, and their invulnerability isn't based on muscle mass, I think that it's basically mentally controlled (might be wrong, though). And actually for me, I'd like for someone I'm playing against to have at least some form of mastery or familiarity to what they're playing. wtf, compared to what? One of the biggest issues with MKX is that the game is convoluted as fuck. Each character has like 15-20 target combos with varying hit levels and frame properties for non-stop mixups and setplay, which intensified by the run system and all the crazy armor properties in the game. Then, add in the fact that the game has an extensive variation system producing a game with like 100 mus, and you literally have one of the hardest games when it comes to acquiring game knowledge. And the execution in the game isn't brain dead either. Characters like raiden are hard to execute. Idk why ppl think MKX is more casual friendly than SFV in terms of learning the game. I'd take SFV 8-12 buttons per char over MKX anyday. I want to actually play the game not sit in training mode.

Dude, have you played mkx or follow the scene all? The options are massive, everything is a mixup within a mixup aided by armor, run, and crazy teleport shit. The game is pure chaos with its offense and mobility. You can't play MKX at a meaningful level unless you have huge amount of MU knowledge which is hella annoying to get thanks to the variation system and the fact that the game revolves around target combos instead of 1 hit normals. With 1 hit normals like SF you don't have to spend nearly the amount of time remembering and learning shit like you do with characters who have 15-20 target combos with varying hit levels and frame properties. For example, just go in training mode in MKX with a character like sonya across three of her variation. I miss how MK9 approached offense. The mixes came from staggering strings while MKX its all about hit-level mixups (which are usually 50/50s or 33/33/33), Armour guessing games, and run mix ups, plus the stagger shit.
