All right /swco/, Thanks to a super kind anon I've now got Empire at War (plus forces of corruption) and I'm trying to install the Battlefront commander mod on the steam version. I've put the mods data file in the corruption/mods folder and put the swfoc MODPACK=Mods\Data thing and the mod just doesn't appear when I launch the game. After that I tried moving the scripts and XML folders into the main foc data file but then the game gets stuck in the loading page. Could somebody who's installed this mod give a play by play for retards on how to install?

I still can't believe they just casually gave is the canon version of (what I think is) the creation of the Sith in a comic book. Gives me hope that well see more Old Republic stuff sooner than I initially thought.

What if the Jedi created holograms because initially they would pass on knowledge by becoming force ghosts but when the Order banned the force ghost rituals they created mechanical means of keeping a Jedi's sentience, just not in a literal sense so it wouldn't possibly threaten the force.

It's best to stick with the mod folder since you're not a modding expert. Putting things into the main data can get really messy. The mod folder goes into the main FOC folder. There should be a little icon on the main folder that allows you to launch the mod.

On a side note I just came back from the cinema, and I liked the movie. Visually stunning, like a lot of stuff, disliked some. The space battle was awesome. Music was on point as always. Now I want more Star Wars. The new fighters were pretty cool in design.

There is the 501st, huge charity pulls and is great. I handle for them on occasion and know a lot of members. Way less autism than you would imagine, mostly really cool guys and some veterans.

Then you have like rebel legion, mostly old farts that are even more strict than the 501st with what they approve. Its kinda no fun as far as i care, since they also cover jedi outfits and you have to have x pouches and z belts, but whatevs. medium autism.

Then you have the dark empire, covers sith, mostly OCs and stuff, but they also have "denizens of the galaxy" to play like background aliens and stuff. these guys are the worst tho, if you read through their profiles its all edgy self wank, but individually, they aren't so bad. im mates with one, but overal most autistic before the mando mercs.

While there may be some specific continuity problems in BH/Open Seasons, the main answer is yes, they were caught in the overall purge.

In order to be absolutely certain that moving forward they were building a consistent and accurate world to what Lucas had left, the only things that remains Canon was Lucas's 6 movies, and TCW.

Anything else in the Legends Expanded Universe was declared officially non-canon.

For what it's worth, TCW does mention about Jango being chosen for the Clone Template, and its pretty simply that (presumably) Dooku found & hired him, and saw him physically sufficient to be the template for an army.

So the only mention of the 501st post-Order 66 is in Twilight Company, at the Battle of Hoth, according to the Wook anyways, which explains why I didn't think the 501st were beholden to Vader. But it seems that they canonically still are, my mistake. Still no Clones though.

I remember Vader making a note of seeing a Clone in the Tarkin book, establishing that it wasn't a very common sight anymore, so there likely aren't any in his own personal forces. Maybe he prefers it that way.
