One of my complaints about Steven Universe is that the Gems act very weird for truely alien aliens seeing as how they are rocks things like trees or water shouldnt meant a fucking thing to them, a devastated area is no different than one filled with life because they are fucking rocks, heck a lifeless wasteland should psychologically be paradise to them since its where rocks are found the most to begin with.
