Our goal is simple--to preserve quality and detect shit. If not for us knowing better, Bendis and the like would be getting more sales. We help define what is good and bad through what is essentially a large focus group of a wide range, spanning from oldfags, tumblrinas, regulars, and more. And through our wide-spanning debates, we keep not only the brand alive, but try to discuss ways to improve it so we’re no longer given half-hearted excuses for art and entertainment.

Right now, yes, we're in a bad state...but that's because COMICS and CARTOONS are. We're the ones who need to fix it. We're the ones who will stand our ground and say: "No, I don't want to see Spider-Man be a poor-man's Tony Stark" and "We don't want you to push your agenda, we want you out so we can get quality material that we should be promised".

I believe /co/ has great potential. We can make so much noise if we just knew how to stop yelling at each other. We all know what the problems are, we know they CAN be fixed, but the problem is that we're only shouting at ourselves, at each other, and “they” won’t let us yell at them.

You may laugh at me, but I believe in /co/ because I believe we all want the same thing in the end: quality, the preservation of artistic integrity in comics and cartoons, and preventing the next generation's corruption from hackneyed "talent" to get a quick buck.

We can be the ones who start the fire. We can be the heroes to save heroes. We should look at ways of actually fixing the very materials that we love instead of yelling at one another.
So ...will you stand your ground, allowing the wrongs of today affect the days of future’s past? Will you take responsibility and make “them” realize the great power they hold?

We can change history /co/. We’re loud, we’re plenty; so what’re we doing? If a vocal minority of “SJWs” can truly change the things we love, what’s stopping us?

Let’s stand, /co/. Let’s finally start the fire.
