Did any of the other heroes have kids?
>>
>>88597610

it is kind of weird that most super heros don't have children now that you mention it. They usually have to retire before they settle down.
>>
Syndrome may have killed most of them before they got kids.

I know at least one adopted kids and was fairly saintly before being offed by syndrome. It was in his profile

There's a difference between a deleted scene and a sequence that was cut from the script all the way back in preproduction.

You're right, he's CISHet scum that breeds with women who are probably OFFERING themselves to him which is utterly demeaning and he's a pig for going through with it. Unless he didn't actually go through with it, in which case he's a pig for rejecting them because of their looks and/or their personality. And if they weren't offering themselves to him, it was rape all along. And if they weren't offering themselves and he didn't do anything, then he was an asshole for either looking or not looking at them.

I REALLY like the scene with Syndrome breaking into their home at night. I like the idea in general of a supervillain trying to settle old scores by attacking them when they're at their most vulnerable like that.

I'd like to see a similar scene in the sequel.

his name was Xerek
unlike Syndrome who was a full-fledged supervillain, Xerek was more of a villain you'd see in James Bond, which fit the movie's early theme of the phasing out of superheroes in favor of world-class spies
he was one of Helen's exes (who she left after learning he was a criminal) who, due to some experiment gone wrong, became a decrepit old man from advanced aging

while he didnt show up in the movie, they actually used him in the comic as the main antagonist with pretty much the same backstory, leading a villain team called the Unforgivables

and in the end of it all, he pretty much won

I really would love to see the dynamic between Frozone and any others new potential characters. "The incredibles 2 was moved up to a June 2018 release date. Honestly, I know the cape thing was mostly a joke played for laughs, but the more I think about it the sadder it gets for me. Imagine having the boldness of a super, the might and the gumption and the charisma, and you spend your final moments not in a dramatic final stand, or a valuable sacrifice for the greater good, but in a moment of primal fear and panic as you realize that your powers and pride can't help you know, and as you fumble to save yourself from such a stupid, wretched mistake, a part of you already accepted that this small issue was enough to topple a giant like you, and that you'll die from a foolish innocent mistake.
being a /co/fag, I dream of the personality a super-me could have, but the idea of a confident me suddenly slammed down to reality almost hurts.

Redpill me on Gamma Jack.
How powerful was he?
What was his personality like?
What was his endgame?
His line in the video isn't much clarifying, he just sounds like a regular Chad.
>>
>>88614539
Xerek also had Mirage working for him, and there was one bit of concept art were they were totally about to fuck
>>
>>88626814
Reminds me of an episode of Darkwing Duck where DW got his cape caught in some machine and couldn't move. Negaduck just laughs "THAT is why I don't wear rip-proof capes."
>>
No one ever seems to point out the biggest weirdest flaw in the movie

Bob wants a cape specifically because he though Dynaguy's looked cool.

We then find out Dynaguy ALSO died due to his cape.

So...uh... why wouldn't Edna remind Bob of that first before listing all the other random superheroes?

It's not technically a plot hole, it's just bizarre writing
>>
>>88599217
This was such a cool scene, they even tried to incorporate a bit of it in the movie with the dialogue and Syndrome at their house at the end
>>
>>88599217
I really love some of Syndrome's lines in this bit, wish they made it into the final cut
>>
>>88599217
I like this Syndrome better, he seems like more of a trickster than just a doofy (yet threatening) villain. He really gives off the vibe of an ex-fan who feels wronged and is now the creepy stalker/meddler for Mr, Incredible (though idk if he had that character back then)
>>
>>88635773
We don't know anything outside of that file

He was a supremacist and he managed to destroy one of the omnitrons.
>>
>>88599217
>you supers aren't allowed to breed

>when you SENT ME TO THE SKOOKUM HOUSE

>that gramma... what big teeth she had

even proto-syndrome was based
>>
>>88636011
Although in that case, it seems the being wronged is just him being sent to jail by Mr I

You can see he's really burned over that, he drops his trickster facade briefly there
>>
I've been wondering about this, but what are some of the "weakest" heroes in comics who could beat the omnidroid?
>>
>>88635170
>what do u think happened to the super villians
Prison, but in a world where breaking out of prison is a lot fucking harder.
>>
>>88636304
38' Superman. Bob pretty much has his powers.
I'd also say Luke Cage and The Thing.
Basically any given tanky character who knows how to fight smart when they need to.

At least for THAT particular variety of Omnidroid. Syndrome kept on upgrading each one until he made one that could kill a given cape.

The Legion of Super Orphans sound pretty terrifying

My theory is this but he has the unknown ability of being able to pull his atoms back together after such an explosion

>Dark Ophan Society
>a whole group of super-powered, evil batmen.
>>
If you think about it, Batman is the only hero that's as obsessed with his motif as the villains usually are.
>>
>>88635773
He was a glass canon, no more durable than a regular person, but he could vaporize anything within 100 meters with a thought.

The DVD includes team files along with the individual profiles, which are pretty interesting.
>The Phantasmics
>Most high profile team designed to fight international level threats
>Everseer and Psycwave are close enough to run a joint therapist practise but it probably isn't romantic since Everseer seems kinda asexual due to his extreme germaphobia and Psycwave apparently has no qualms with mind-controlling random men into relationships
>Psycwave, Everseer and Macroburst all fight Omnidroid v.1. Macroburst lives long enough to destroy v.1 but dies to v.2. Did they go together?
>Plasmabolt insists on keeping her secret identity separate from her hero work; doesn't keep in touch with the others post-relocation programme and as such doesn't go with them to fight the Omnidroid
>Probably doesn't even know they're dead
>Gazerbeam is an ex-member who "didn't see eye to eye" with Everseer. He apparently fucked over the Thrilling Three, too

Man, what I wouldn't give for a Golden Age Incredibles comic.
>>
>>88640783
>Never saw eye to eye
Fucking goddammit.
>>
>>88640783
WHAT? I knew about the individual files, but not team files.

Post more please.
>>
Gamma Jack's file made me laugh because it's so relatable to what half of /co/ would be as superheroes.

>have trouble killing supervillainesses because they're too hot.

Sure, anon.
>The Thrilling Three
>Assembled by the NSA to fight national level threats, disbanded well before the relocation programme
>Implied that the team didn't really get on on a personal level
>Apogee describes it as "well intentioned, a bit misguided" in her audio file
>"It was really The Thrilling One, plus two, in Gazerbeam's mind"
>Phylange's individual file states he quit the team because he saw it as 'Gazerbeam's Gang'

>Beta Force
>Tackles mostly street level crime
>Mostly designed as part of Blazestone's rehabilitation as an ex-villain(!)
>Don't seem to get along, but NSA has high hopes for them 'if they don't kill each other first'
>Note that Universal Man isn't the dude involved in a love triangle with her and Frozone (that's Downburst)
>>
Real talk. I would rather be a super in the world of the Incrediblies rather than the big 2.

I'm hoping the sequel will give us more insight into the Golden Age superhero era before everything turned into Watchmen.
