Multiversal Adventures miniseries, each issue is from a different world. The New Gods look different in every universe but are still essentially the same character each time, just filtered through the lens of that Universe's paradigm. At the end it turns out every single issue was about Darkseid somehow but that shouldn't be obvious at all aside from the occasional weirdo screaming about OMEGA or something.

Big Barda, I feel, is a character who has a lot of potential. I just realized a little while ago that I love her visual design so much.

Honestly, kinda like how Mera does the whole, "Angry royal railing against modern human society thing who even kills if necessary," better than WW, Big Barda is kinda the better Amazonian badass and female warrior. Not that I don't love WW.

I think other Amazons are more perfect Amazons than WW in some ways, part of WW's whole thing is that she transgresses/transcends her society - even any society, because she's that accepting and capable of love and understanding. BB isn't really the same type of character at all. If WW is being written like Barda, someone is writing WW badly.

She does have a great design.

I agree with everything you said, but my problem with a lot of writers is that they just write her as an angry, violent bitch willing to kill and killing quite frequently. I hate that take on WW. She works so much better when she's incredibly loving and accepting of everyone and tries to rehabilitate her enemies.

Auras have the serious drawback of needing another card on the field in order to be played and stay in play, so they pretty much have to be strong in order to be worth using at all, and that Aura doesn't make the creature it enchants any harder to kill. It doesn't make the creature stronger so it has to have/get a high power in order for trample to be any real use, while haste is only useful on the first turn the creature is out, so if you want a 5 cost creature to get the full benefit you will need to be able to generate at least 6 mana.
