What season/episode would you have ended The Simpsons on?

Season 18

End it specifically on the episode Wife's Aquatic because it ends with Lisa crying

The show was pretty shit by then, but the episode would've been a good sendoff.

Season 10

This is my idea: delete the episodes of S10 that are widely considered bad and replace them with the best of S11-13. If the show ended here, it could've ended on a dignified note, and on a "nice round number". Not a perfect season admittedly, but quality television all the same. And by no means a blight on The Simpsons legacy.

I can't think of a single animated thing that has been worthy of continuing after the first movie.

15, when latin american dub actors were changed. I would add the movie as the end, which i didn't liked that much, but it would improve a lot with the original team.

Holidays of Future Passed, from season 23. Late, I know, but god damn that episode was a good sendoff. I teared up.

IIRC it was actually written to potentially be a finale (Shearer was trying to bail again), but the machine kept chugging and it got dropped in as a regular holiday episode
