Given Endtown's high mortality rate, it's not that much of a stretch that a couple of these guys met Holly, they started warming up to each other, and then they go get blasted to smithereens by a topsider, eaten by a grue, or any number of hazards outside of Endtown.

There's two guys right there, *maybe* three, And from there you have one or two guys who it just didn't work out with. Maybe some awkward dates or one of them says something that triggers the other and they drift apart. There's maybe room in this for one asshole.

Switch the numbers around however you want, but when you're in a giant-ass bomb bunker of a town, time probably passes slow. Holly could have been going through these guys at a reasonably 'clip' rather than being involved in some righteous sexcapades before Wally rolled in.

The problem is that Holly's "bad character" is essentially a retcon. When you go back, the old comics don't read like they're about someone who is troubled underneath. In fact, Holly is portrayed as a somewhat upstanding person. A little reckless, sure, but not someone motivated by unstable thoughts. And we can tell perfectly what that's supposed to look like, because we have someone like Allie as an example. And people still love Allie, because she's just an incredibly tragic character. We never really got that tragedy from "crazy Holly", either. She was not portrayed as someone we ought to have sympathy with, all of a sudden.

Aaron's writing seems to have grown erratic, and it really bothers me that he claims "it was always supposed to be this way". No, Aaron. I know how writing works, and there is no such thing as a detailed narrative set up beforehand in some guy's head. No plan survives first contact of ink and paper. That's why you prepare, which is hard when you're publishing the content the moment it's made.

It'd be a bit weird, because a single religion can often be split into many subgroups with different ideas of worship, and telling them to get along and keep it in one or two buildings to save space is much easier said than done. It'd be a mess, and that's just with Christianity. Even more so with the mutagen and Topsiders, so I'd have no clue how anything would work out in the end.

Probably another way to help cool things down would be making official sports games than small park stuff. Hopefully it would keep them distracted on that, at least for a time.
