Like the finger stripes are neat and all, but the outfit is so boring other than that. All black below the waist and it says nothing about him.

Yes I love it with every fiber of my being, the texture and waist patterning was a utter god send compared to the cosplay looking crap the character usually wears.
It creates a feel of authenticity.

Probably the black lines and the additional lines on the blue bits. That seems to be the typical complaint other than 'not muh ASM2, perfect costume'. Which is entirely bullshit as the ASM2 suit just looked like a cheaper, more weakly designed knockoff of the Raimi suit.
