I'm gonna get so many (You)s, but hear me out.

I like Steven Universe and all, but it's just not the 'best' show people make it seem, it has some enjoyable moments but it doesn't feel fulfilling to watch because of the abundance of filler episodes and lore episodes being concluded way too soon, doesn't help that its main protagonist became such a huge Mary-Sue and how he's always right and the mentor of the episode outside of Bismuth.

I seriously hope that the writers get their shit together so that they don't end with a bad ending.

It's entertaining for a while, then you realize each episode pretty much sums down to "Set piece after set piece after set piece" with no real plot development.

Hopefully the new show will actually have a solid narrative this time.
