RiD may have been a shit show, but it was a great toyline

I really, really like Movie Megatron... as a concept. But the sheer amount of jobbing he does throughout the series sucks.

I've gotta say Beast Wars Megatron. Never a slave, always aiming big, and charismatic as all hell.

It's easy to see other Megatrons beating the Decepticon army into his tools, but BW Megs is the only one I could actually see leading the movement with the charisma we're frequently told he had at the start of the Decepticon movement.

Admittedly, I know little of IDW Megs.

Animated Megatron is just so classy, but also terrifying.

Also I think Cory Burton is the best voice Megatron is ever had. It's perfect. Better than Welker, even.

Your opinion, I disagree with it. RiD Mega/Galvatron is one of my favorite TF toys to this day, and I really enjoyed a lot of the new molds like the combiners who had a GI aesthetic but applied to the technology progress made with Beast Wars....I even liked the Autobot brothers, kibbley messes though they were, I thought they were cool and unique looking

I also loved that Fire Convoy, Ultra Fagnus not so much

To be fair, they cemented RiD and Prime being in continuity far more heavily recently with the Ratchet/Soundwave/Starscream appearances. Ultra Magnus, Bulkhead, and Arcee also appeared in the tie-in comics.
