It wasn't written very well and took over fifty issues to resolve maybe 5 issues of actual writing material.
Despite the "superstar artist" fad of the 90's it eventually became obvious that art skill did not translate into writing skill.

It's all over the place, with the asymmetrical pauldron and the batman-style arm blades, the bunched-up chains, and the (I'm guessing) white leather that doesn't look any different from the cloth, it's just a total fucking mess.
