Absolutely true, which is why making CW and CW such massive events was a terrible mistake. It could've at least been smaller.

Kingdom Come was poorly written.
It swept the Eisners for everything but writing Becasue its plot is a thin mess where all the heroes are assholes and psychopaths and the "happy ending " is just as fucked up as the start.
Infinite Crisis was a brilliant satire of it.
