Elektra was, in a season that was meant to establish an overarching shadowy, strange ninja order and confront an idea about vigilantism and how far is too far, a character defined by being driven by bloodlust. She is predetermined via BlackSky background to be murderous and find it too easy. Her character arc would not be out of place on the CW. Having that juxtaposed to the stellarly acted Frank and always A-game even when Matt's being a little shit Charlie Cox, her perfectly-accented breakdowns and posh mannerisms did not work. She was a fine enough actress but the material she had and how it was delivered was dissonant.

He can't tell colors of things unless he can smell the dyes used on them. He has to touch printed materials directly with his fingers to read them, one time Kingpin got one over on him by giving him a safe full of "important documents" that turned out to be old newspapers and he couldn't tell. He knew they were papers but he would have known immediately if he wasn't blind.

The problem with Karen is that she had a lot of chemistry with both Foggy and Frank, but the writers kept pushing her with Matt whom she had almost no screen time with.

Im kind of getting sick of Karen. For the most part the character is fine, but often the plot struggles to make her relevant or give her something to do. All she did last season was annoy the fuck out of Frank and have her write a school essay. Best option? Just introduce Bullseye next season as the big bad and have him kill her Elektra style

If Matt had told Foggy "Hey sorry I'm not pulling my weight on the case, Elektra has me wrapped up in this ninja bullshit" at the get-go, do you know how much drama we would've avoided?

Can Matt pick up a book and read it by running his fingers across the letters? My instinct says yes, but at the same time having heightened sonar senses doesn't help with that.

Why is it that Karen seems so immature? The writers try to make her proactive so that she doesn't seem like a sidelined love interest, but she ends up coming off as a plucky ingenue rather than a competent adult woman.

She's like a teenaged reporter that doesn't realize how in over her head she is. Her poor decision making has already gotten someone killed.

She is a secretary for one year. During that time she also becomes an reporter, a lawyer and an ace detective. She monopolized the punisher storyline and had almost as much screen time as the star of of the show.
