South Park was ruined by its overt focus on political satire. Should have kept the surreality and irreverence that the first few seasons had. There's a reasons Fun Times with Weapons and The Losing Edge are such well liked episodes.

The only reason for the fuck up was because they invested too much into the election. Prior to 'Oh Jeez!' the season was doing fine.

I'm hoping they do something in between Episode and syndicated, like going through forth grade or the constant search for the new forth member in season 6.

I wasnt liking it much even before that, they were even using the same jokes like member berries and smart and funny and it felt like nothing but slow build up. I was going along with it still but yeah after Oh Jeez i couldnt stand it.

Are you all really surprised? Trey and Matt admit that they actively try to get the show canceled, but at this point South Park has become a rolling snowball, and it's unlikely it will ever end unless they do some HEINOUS shit on television. Like Simpsons.
