The Mighty Thor #15 preview...
"cancer intensifies"
>>88371151
If only this had some narrative weight at all.
>>88371797
What makes you think it won't?
>>88371168
I thought the thumbnail was a page from Charlie Brown.
>>88371202
So will "The Mighty" Thor also run concurrently with "The Mighty" Captain Marvel? Isn't that a little lazy, even for NuMarvel?
>>88372027
Nothing has.
Hype as fuck. This new volume of Thor has been great.
Dauterman y'all, one of marvel's best and people are sleeping on him
>>88373387
Dauterman is brilliant. Its Aaron that concerns me.
Aaron is really boring.
Everything is horrible.
I haven't seen it up on /co/ yet, so how about the latest issue of Unworthy Thor, hm?
>>88375387
>>88375423
When last we left off, Odinson fought trolls on the moon, Old Asgard was missing, and Beta Ray Bill was a bro.
>>88375456
>>88375475
Interrupting Spaceships say what?
>>88375493
>>88375521
I wonder if the ancient bomb will blow up real soon?
>>88375542
Yes. Yes it will.
>>88375564
Do ex-gods dream of thunder hammers?
>>88372027
Aaron is hit and miss, but this has been 90 percent miss.
>>88375587
Freud would have a field day with this.
Have they revealed yet why Thor became unworthy and replaced by Jane?
I've decided not to buy any Thor titles until they do.
>>88375620
And our Mystery Thief!
>>88375624
someone whispered something in his ear
>>88375657
Yes but what?
>>88375646
So that's where it went...
>>88375672
>>88375669
fuck if i know
>>88375695
To the, heh, shock of nobody, The Collector is a dick.
>>88375719
Man, The Collector seems to really be in a mood to break all his stuff today.
>>88375746
Well what do you know...
>>88375770
...he just might still be...
>>88371168
Why isn't she using the magic shit from Asgard to cure her cancer?
Why did she refuse it anyway?
>>88375789COCKBLOCKED!
>>88375801
Who fucking knows?
>>88375801
because plot
>>88375817
And now for something /completely/ different!
>>88375837
Dun dun duuuuun!
>>88375387
>Bill
I'm in.
>>88375817
Guy isn't much of a collector if he destroys one his one-of-a-kinds out of pettiness.
>>88375856
Goats.
>>88375870
Trading one rare item for another, more desirable rare item is something most collectors do.
>>88375870
Why does The Collector even /want/ to be Thor?
>>88375817
>>88375801
Because she doesn't want to, she wants to beat it by human terms.
>>88375817
What goes through a villain's brain when they do shit like this?
>oh wow, I just thought of something, I'm gonna tell my minions to leave the body where Thor can see it, before I kill the boy.
>They'll be like "what body, boss? hurr"
>And THEN I'll shot the boy! Oh man, I will look SOO COOOOL!
>>88375870
But he went from having the last alive one to last dead one. If he preserves the body well then it's all balanced out
>>88375952
What's the fun in being a supervillain if you can't be overly theatrical about it?
If I was a supervillain, the first thing I'd do would be grow a pointed mustache so I could twirl it.
>>88375938
While using a magic god hammer to stave off that very same cancer.
Though, according to A-Force, all it really takes to use a hammer is a fatal disease, though Dazzler-Thor was killed by her case of M-Pox.
So, on the scale of things, M-Pox > Thor Hammer > Cancer
>>88375952
Maybe he was lying about that being the last of his kind?
>>88376013
But every minion above 70 IQ will just roll his eyes and think you're lame. Are villains really just aiming for the inspiring awe in retards?
>>88376039
The act itself is stupid. Trying to look cool in front of your stupid minions? Lame.
>>88375801
Xer didnt want to be mnsplain'd to and given a handout from the patriarchy.
>>88376089
Who the fuck cares about the opinion of minions? It's about having fun.
>>88376089
Hey, I never said it was /smart/
>>88376039
>While using a magic god hammer to stave off that very same cancer.
What, no.
The hammer does nothing against her cancer, however what it does do is purging her body of chemotherapy.
BEFORE ANYONE HAS A HISS FIT ABOUT THIS I WILL REMIND YOU THAT CANCER IS A PART OF YOUR BODY WHILE CHEMOTHERAPY IS NOT.
>>88376134
I thought that Mjolnir kept her at perfect health, so long as she was wielding it?
awesome art
it's the only positive thing I can say about it.
>>88376222
Yes but once she puts it away she is back to her cancerous self.
>>88376382
So it purges the chemo, but so long as she's using it, Mjolnir protects her from the cancer? How is that /not/ using "magical assistance"?
>>88376414
Because she isn't getting rid of the cancer and even she knows she can't stay Thor forever
>>88376547
>even she knows she can't stay Thor forever
The cancer is just a plot device for meaningless drama and doesn't actually stop her from doing anything.
>>88375924
>Thor
>Whor/JaniThor/Fosthor
>Thorse
>Clor
>Throg
and introducing:
>CollecThor
>>88376547
>and even she knows she can't stay Thor forever
And why not, exactly? Is there some time limit that Mjolnir has that no in knew about until niw? I wouldn't even be surprised, considering this entire premise is as hackneyed as humanly possible.
>>88373387
Dauterman is far too good for what this book is, his art was the only thing keeping me picking up the previous vol of jane Thor when it started.. I only dropped it because things were being drawn out by aaron
>>88375657
>>88375669benis
>>88376134
First, what's the point of making a big deal about beating it on human terms if she is going to use magic stop the human medical aid from working. Second does Wakanda not count as human?
>>88376547
She can't? From what I have seen she just chooses to put the hammer down at the end of the day. It would be like a "Hulk the end" scenario where she would only die by switching back.
>>88371168
Jesus christ, she looks like she's in the process of losing consciousness and falling to the floor in that first panel.
>>88375801
Here you go.
>>88375669
Money is on "Thor will kill Jane Foster." Which freaked him out and broke him.
But its True as the power of Thor is kiling Jane Foster.
>>88375669
Best answer came from /co/unworthysayswhat
>>88371143
Is that Heimdall? Did they turn him into Idris Elba?
>>88375493
Thor, stop throwing your axe. It doesn't return like the other thing.
I was just thinking about this today. Does anyone think it is possible that the whisper was "Mlojnir holds you back" and that Thor became unworthy because he didn't want to accept greater responsibility as a God. I hope Thor will actually get some development but I don't think it will.
>>88381468
I guess they turned the Bifrost into some high-tech device shit as well? For SINNERGY?
