Honestly? Part of why post-Rebirth GL has been generally so well recieved is because the entire line (possibly excluding Sinestro) was generally so forgettable or bad previously. Honestly, I remember a time when Red Lanterns and Sinestro was the only thing Lantern related worth reading.
