And then people say "you just don't like it because you don't agree with it" as if that means something. I mean, doesn't that also imply the exact opposite? That people only like it because they agree with it?

It reminds me of how protests used to be done, and how they are now. In this country popular protests caused a massive change in infrastructure and lead to a HUGE drop in children dying in traffic accidents, virtually overnight. Left wing, right wing, it didn't matter two shits, everyone was onboard, there were no political accusations, and the results were universally accepted as part of the national consciousness to the point where it's now a beloved stereotype of our people.

Modern protests? It's left, or it's right, and that's it. And all people want are vague desires, instead of clear goals. I mean, "Wallstreet sucks" is nice and all, but what the fuck do you WANT? Occupy on one side, Tea Party on the other, progress nowhere.
