That only happens if you kill him without exiting the initial interrogation even if you broke him. You have to exit out of it first, then you can drag him back into it to finish him off without getting penalized.

I really really hope WB will put their shit together and make Superman game one day. With mixed aesthetics of Donner's and Snyder's Superman movies and with hardcore comic book background shown by Superman TAS and a little more hardcore into comic books themselves.

Kinda similar to Rocksteady approach for Arkham Asylum where it was Burton aesthetics mixed with Nolan and background was like we are looking on logic continuation of ordinary Batman TAS episode with some adjustments of "hardcore" canon details from comics like Barbara being crippled.

And everyone saying Superman is OP, but in the game you can show that play of the of SuperMan is actually hard (as opposite to Arkham's Batgod). Just make him more dependent to yellow sun, like after hard battle you need couple seconds for charging, shots from minigun in the head are knocking him (like in Man of Steel movie), or intense bursts from rifles and machine gun male him move and struggle before maintaining his anti-gravity field (like in BvS), you know when I play Overwatch as D.Va it kinda seems to be a bunch of good scraps for idea of good Superman game.
Also it would be cool for Superman nuke himself like in new52 and walking a couple of minutes without able to fly, heat-vision, supersonic speed, you know what I am saying.
And of course for it to be high-octane action packed game with neat battles like in Man of Steel and with generous work as savior like in Donner Superman movies and BvS montages.
And also with high contrast between bright sunny moments and night episodes.

Also as it shown in BvS it's easy to knock out post-crisis type of Superman by landing on him very dense objects like when Doomsday hit back of his head with Black zero event memorial. But through the game you upgrading power of Superman and can much easier maintain resistance, like Routh's Superman who didn't even blinked when was shot in the eye, or walked without any difficulties against burst from minigun. But this all anyway will cost you solar energy that Superman must from time to time recharge by flying to the sun. Night episodes ofc would be much difficult because there will be no sun nearby.

Also arm some enemies with kryptonite weapons, gadgets that can emerge high-piched sound, and red sun emulators.

The first game, and I say that as someone that was introduced to the series with the second game and actually liked the whole Fold thing.
