I'm not a DCfag. I prefer their characters, but comics seem to come in phases. Usually one of the big two is doing better than the other at any given time. Right now I'd argue it's DC, but during the New 52/DC You eras Marvel definitely had the upper hand in terms of overall quality, especially towards the end where DC gave the fuck up.

Right now, Marvel has the better films by a mile (DC/Warner haven't made anything good except the first third of Man of Steel) but pretty much every DC comic is great rn, while Marvel is being kinda uninteresting. Plus, they keep bogging themselves down with events nobody asked for, and the higher prices are getting a bit irritating.
