Kisscartoon is gone forever?
>>
>>88330882
Good
fuck their arrogant asses thinking they have any right to put their own watermarks on shows as if they have any ownership
>>
>>88330913
Cool, now where i watch cartoons online without get add bombed?
>>
What will I do when watchcartoononline falls?
>>
>>88330941
Just download them man.
There are places like http://kametsu.com/ were there's a lot available to download.
>>
They're not dead. The servers were overloades, so they the site went down. They're updating the IP or some shit and it's taking forever.
>>
Give it two weeks tops.

>>88331000
Why bother downloading something you'll only watch once?
>>
>>88331000
I don't want to flood my HD with cartoons.
>>
>>88331085
This unless you're preparing for shtf and you have reliable power source to watch comfy animation in a post apocalyptic world
>>
Good. Fuck them for filling up their site with so many ads that movies can't load then blocking Adblock.
>>
>>88331085
Probably because a lot of people, if not the majority, don't watch things only once.
>>
>>88331228
Everyone Ive ever known only bothers to watch most TV shows once. Only if its truly great will they save it for a prolonged period.
>>
>>88331218
It's pretty easy to block all their adds though.

ya know, i always wonder why sites like this aren't shut down sooner.

i mean, it can't be that hard to find this shit and stop it. im assuming its because companies really don't care that maybe 50k people are watching this shit, since box sets, netflix and cable are probably making them good money that it wouldn't matter if a small fraction of people aren't caring to buy shit.

Also, fuck, I hope kiss doesn't go down. Yeah a lot of people don't like the watermarks, the quality was inconsistent, and the ads have been getting a lot worse, but fuck, their selection was crazy. There was just absolutely no question as to whether they would have something. If it was a cartoon, and it was released, they would have it, guaranteed. That was admirable.

My sister yesterday bursted into my room saying 'I just had a panic attack, I thought my favorite anime site was blocked!' (we call all forms of animation 'anime' in my household) knew instantly what she was talking about. She proceeded to say 'but I check the site using a vpn, seems like it's not accessible for anyone else... must mean it's down and not blocked...'

Didn't occur to me until this thread that's possibly gone for forever for everyone else. Hopefully claims that it's merely temporarily down stands true.

>>
>>88340982
I haven't tried it on Kiss sites, I just download videos off of them instead of watching them in browser anyway. I'm talking about plenty of other sites where I wish to modify filter preferences.

aside from its horrible userbase and the idiotic category system, the kiss sites was actually decent because they let you download their stuff without needing third party downloaders

ie, i can use my office pc and just go to their site and right click + save episodes and just sort them by folder later on.

every other site needs you to have something like IDM to be able to get their stuff. and besides i really dont like having to torrent a 1gb file thats just one episode if i can get it at a decent 480p worth 100+mb anyway

Pirated media is basically like Hydra.

They took down Megaupload and Mega appeared.
They took down Justin.tv and Arconai appeared.

I'm not worried one bit.
>>
>>88330882
Not sure why there is so much hatred for streaming on here, I'll also torrent something every now and again but streaming is just more convenient most of the time. Especially in the case of older or more obscure comics/videos, half of the time whenever I manage to find a torrent for them there's usually no seeders for it so it takes ages to download. I also live out in the country where my internet connection isn't the fastest so it takes me a few hours to download a torrent with a few gigs so it takes much less time to just stream it most of the time. I'll torrent something if I just want to keep a copy of something I really enjoyed on hand or I need something to watch when I can't connect to the internet but otherwise I'll just stream it.

if they want to make the case that downloading/streaming something somebody else illegally uploaded is itself illegal (and any different than something like buying bootleg DVDs off the street) then i'll gladly fight it in court. fuck those corporate cocksuckers.
>>
>>88344591
True, but it took some time for them to come back.

Like the time I took down an underground YouTube porn ring (not even joking). They went dark for a few months and then tried to rebuild again 3 months later. Sadly, I was never able to get back in to take them down again. With the user name "Flagofjudgement" I'm honestly surprised they even let me in to begin with.

>using adblock instead of other blocking software

Kiss couldn't even detect uBlock when used.

Shitty excuse is shitty.
>>
>>88340977
Okay let me list the ways that site is vastly inferior
>has multiple video feeds instead of just having a selector of which type you want to use for ease of use
>doesn't allow you to change the stream quality so you don't see its not at 1080p while kisscartoon allows you to see all the different options
>doesn't allow downloads of episodes you may have liked and want to rewatch like kisscartoon does
>mainly focuses on anime and has anime on every god damned page and even calls american cartoons anime
>has the ugliest UI on the planet compared to kisscartoon which looks pretty good
Only weebs and hipster contrarians would say that garbage site is superior. I'd rather deal with intrusive ads than not have anime and cartoons seperated and have naruto and sasuke on every god damned video.
>>
>>88330882
>Start putting up anti-adblock
>People just block the anti-adblock or ask why it's there
>Complain that those people are selfish for not wanting shitty ads all over the page.

Never went back. Have ublock origin + Play using browser tool but there was literally no point to start pushing ads.
>>

I always worry about ratio with private trackers. I don't have enough space on my HDD to keep series I've already watched, and when I do grab things from there by necessity, they end up being so unpopular that I can never really recover from it.

The Kiss series of sites is the very definition of putting all your eggs in one basket. If you didn't already have alternatives then you deserve it. Seriously, that site is just asking to be fucked every which way. Japan practically wants to nuke the anime and manga side.
