Is Superman the superhero with the richest mythology?
No, you're thinking of Thor.
>>88312940
Nope, Batman is.

>You're going to love this, trust me. What you're seeing now is my normal state.
>>88312950
rich wouldn't be the world
>>88312940
He used to be, until 1986. Then DC thought that Superman is a normal American dude and a serious and gritty hero, not for kids, purging most of his mythology.

Probably second to batman. But LOSH and both Jimmy's and Lois books may push him near a tie, but still batman gets the lead, I think that golden age batman and silver age batman being the same character with just different characterization is what really gives batman the advantage. Batman never got a real reboot until new52.
>>88312940
No, my fan fiction super hero is.
Yes
>>88312940
Batman is to be honest.
He has a bigger supporting cast, more elseworlds, more experimental stories and what not.
>>88313276
Even new 52 wasn't a clean reboot for Batman. He retained a lot and even the missing stuff was added quickly.

>Probably second to batman
No, GL is second to Batman.
>Batman
>X-Men
>Green Lantern
These three have the richest mythology in comics.
>>88314787
So,....
>1)Batman
>2)X-Men
>3)Green Lantern
>4)Superman
>5) ????
Who would be in 5?
it's richest in some things
What are some good modern interpretations of the silver-age/fun and fancy free Superman? All-Star, Supreme....

Johns/Busiek had some silver age elements and so did Morrison's Action Comics.

>That was some good sex, Bruce.
>Let's disarm the bomb, Clark.
>>88312940
It's so creepy looking at this image, being young, and never reading any Curt Swan stuff except Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow.
>Mxy floating above everyone
>Bizarro looking like a lovable goof
>>88312950
I'm a Thorfag but he can't really compare to the sheer amount of Supes material. Unless you're taking "mythology" really literally.
>>88313200
>purging most of his mythology
They burned every copy?
And deleted every torrent?
And mind-wiped every writer?
Memes never die, anon. Just open at a Morrison comic.
