The voice has gotten old. Not overdone, but physically old. Conroy, too.

Which is kinda sad to think about. When the both of them (actually) retire their respective character's voices, Mark's got all that Star Wars money, while Kevin has only been doing one main voice for years, and not much else.

I just think it's kind of sad that they're being crammed in to pander to the nostalgia of some late 20 to 30 something douches. I have nothing but respect for either actor but these show isn't for us old fags and we've been doing nothing but rob the current generation of their own nostalgia.

it's weird because they DID retire, I thought... but it's like, they can't. it's kind of a microcosm of all entertainment right now. miyamoto tried to retire, miyazaki tried to retire, but their replacements are incompetent
so they reluctantly come back
but they're fucking old now and dont understand anything so we end up with storyless characterless paper marios and a ghibli film about fucking planes
