Tobey was a good actor that fit not only the tone and stories of the Raimi movies but he also was able to portray the asshole superiority complex-ridden Peter that we haven't really seen outside of a cringey basketball sequence.

how about a trilogy

What if the think tank was a ploy by Doc Ock and they're using it for criminal activity. This is a ploy to take down all parts of Peter's life. Ock seems like the leader but is really working under Norman.

the second movie can introduce cloak and dagger and maybe also rocket racer
