Why so much harsh Criticism?
Dunno, thought it was a good time.

Why was it a fun movie to you OP?

because people are only drawn to 3d animations that have the biggest ad campaign. most people are brainwashed to compare everything to pixar

This had a big advertising campaign too. . .
I actually enjoyed this movie a whole lot. Lots of good jokes and gags. A lot of them had me laughing.
Didnt think the wolves would make me laugh as much as they did. It was dumb but it was goddamn funny.

Pro-baby propaganda,
maternal instinct scene,
Kids aren't gonna nag their parents to take them to a cartoon without a princess or batman.
Tulip was cute af though.

No real merchandising/advertising to speak of compared to your usual Dreamworks/Disney movie. The reason a lot of people even bothered to see the LEGO movie is because it had the LEGO brand behind it.

That upbeat casual delivery of "Orphan hurts my heart." line gets me every single time.

Storks hit more than it missed for me, and it's casting and animation were great, but both it's story and it's humor were kind of scattershot. I've been hearing that adults have been the primary group that say they've enjoyed it.
