Again I haven't read Superior Foes but isn't that pretty much what it centered around? Since The Fix has the same creative team they probably figure their fans expect to see that. The positive response to Superior Foes may even have been what led to The Fix existing, maybe they felt they had more idiot criminal stories to tell.

It is basically Superior Foes, with no capes. But Foes did at least feel like it was going somewhere. The Fix suffers from the typical Image book problem: the creators don't have an editor who actually makes them tell a story on timely manner and pace, so the book ends up meandering around, doing fanservice. I actually enjoyed few of the first issues and the comedy is okay, but I actually want plot progression. Why set up a dangling main plot thread about the airport and drug smuggling if you're more interested in just showcasing two idiot cops who are crooked mucking around?
