Except in this case he's not retconning shit he wrote a few weeks ago. I'd be willing to put money on it being him trying to make Roz look better than she actually is, but it only works one way. While it makes her look better in regards to her relationship with Leslie, it makes Robin look like a saint who puts up with Roz's two-faced, near BPD behavior towards her.

This is incredible bullshit. Leslie has tried really hard to teach Roz specifically because she does act like she knows it all. Roz has never really admitted that she might not have it all under control, and she treats Leslie with a lot of disrespect.

The Ross incident happened between Roz calling Joyce out in class and her next one. Leslie told Roz "to behave" since she knew Joyce would be in a rough space. Roz got all defensive about it, and then immediately went back to talking about hooking her up with Robin, because that's how she has power over her. I'm all for having more level relationships with teachers, I had my best experiences as a student with profs who were able to interact more as peers, but Roz shows a distinct lack of respect for Leslie.

Making Robin say that Roz really respects her without having Roz show it at all is weak. I'd be way into it if Roz was trying to talk up Leslie to Robin, and changed her complaints into compliments, but that's probably more manipulative than Willis is willing to go with her.

He's one of those artists who draws often, but never focuses in and practices what he's bad at; So some skills get better (in Willis's case, line-art, coloring, basic shading) but others are still as terrible as they've ever been (perspective, faces, motion, fucking hands). His art has developed and changed over the years because he as a person has gotten older, but past the middle of shortpacked I wouldn't say it has gotten any better.

Tldr he's bad at drawing smut because Willis is bad at the parts of art that make smut appealing .
