Have they ever saved a single patient in the entire show?
>>88200649
I was going to say Icicle...but they more kept him alive than anything else.

Not that I can recall. So many people bought it in that hospital. Thank god for Dr. Hamilton being one of the few competent doctors (as well as actors).

I found that hilarious as well as touching.

This is by far one of my favorite versions of Batman. He's about the same age as Oliver, has Barbara Gordon as a sidekick, and modulates his voice to be Christian Bale esque when he's "being Batman". Also he has good rapport with Lex.
>>88201237
I'm getting so hype meow!
I feel like Amazing Spider-Man 2 tried to ape this scene at the end and failed miserably. Found out that kid was literally autistic and they had to call him by his real name because he wouldn't respond to the name they had chosen for him.......
I want to let everyone know that I did not forget about uploading these comics to MEGA. The issue I ran into is that the Snyder Bat Epic is surprisingly over 8gigs in size which includes all the individual issues as well as TPBs for most of Snyder's Run meaning this upload is taking FOREVERRRRRRRRRR!

No problem
I would read an entire series about OP Smallville Supes thwarting street level (purse snatchers) as well as slightly upper tier threads (Intergang). Shit would be cash.
He's making this criminal give a public apology. I love this Supes.
I'm trying to find an adequate live action Comparison for this Bruce. He's early-mid thirties, dark hair, large forehead, and butt chin.

Batman is bringing the goddamn pain!
Bats is doing remarkably well against a Superman that outclasses his New52 counterpart in most ways.
I feel like the red solar lamps in Batman's armor should be weakening Supes more than it currently is doing.
I love that prior to his engagement with Superman, Batman previously donned a costume that more closely resembled his classic contemporaries. Still love the black facepaint that covers from the nose down.

This
>>88201602
So true. BQM is so great at all the characters (can't wait for Olympus!)
The whole "Crisis" and how it was resolved was...maybe it's just because I'm so irritated by reboots, but it was so perfect.
>>88202180
BQM said in a podcast that Chris Cross was drawing him as Benjamin Bratt, I think?

CoolI always liked her Glad BQM made then father and daughter relationship
>>88203333
I'm still a bit salty that it's Babs and not Steph. It's a delightful character, but bloody Didio needs to step right off.
And just when I think Clark is a full blown goody two shoes he does stuff like this. If I had to rate my three all time iterations of Clark, they would be...
1. Joe Casey - Adventures of Superman #612-623
2. Smallville Superman (Seasons 1-10)
3. Mark Millar - Superman Adventures #16, 19, 22-31, 33-38, 41
>>88203491
I would have loved having Steph in the role (considering that BQM expertly wrote her in his Batgirl series). I also would have really enjoyed have Carrie Kelley in the role as well. Honestly I see Carrie Kelley as a worthy successor to Batman in the same vein as Terry and Dick. She's earned it.
>>88203374
Has BQM ever wrote a bad series?
>>88203596
I don't think so.On live action yes season 2 of arrow episode birds of prey
Clark straight up murders a busload of meteor freaks in these early seasons. He
>Babs
>>88203715Cute

Carrie would be great. And BQM would be great at writing her, definitely.

You better believe it. I'm doing ALL OF IT!!!!! MWHA HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
>>88203957
I panicked because I wasn't sure if I had it and then I realized it's just the name of a story arc in the main series so I DEFINITELY have it!
I love that Clark is smiling and Bruce looks like he wants to rip his head off.
>Fine. Let me see that part, too.
>Otis' face.
The bromance has already begun.
>Believe me, if I wanted to harass you, I'd do it directly and with purpose.
I love Lex. They should have just used Smallville's version as the basis for the DCEU universe. I enjoyed Eisenberg, but I would have preferred Rosenbaum.
Fuck Clark is fast!
Batman should beat his shit in. Not doing so is discrimination. I taught this shit so I should know.
>>88204273
I am enjoying current Superman by Tomasi/Gleason (and Smallville alum Jorge Jimenez!), but I do think that it's annoying that red-eyed Superman is so common these days. Superman is a smiling man of steel, not a dark laser eyed Cyclops wannabe. (Though I love Cyke - he's just not the big blue boy scout.)
Wew OP
Thanks for the nostalgia trip
>>88204074
fucking love lex/otis scenes. i would sacrifice my first born to see all this in live action with rosenbaum
>>88204176

lol
>>88204294
>I am enjoying current Superman by Tomasi/Gleason (and Smallville alum Jorge Jimenez!
So am I. While I was fairly hit or miss on Tomasi's Batman and Robin, I adore his Superman series right now (although I do miss SuperBro).
In fact, I'm tempted to finish all my Superman threads with a full on storytelling of Superbro from start to finish. We would begin with Action Comics and then finish with his end in Super League.....and then I'd probably do Convergence, Lois and Clark, and then finally Tomais Supes lol. There would be no stone unturned with Supermain mainline, Superman/WOnderwoman, Batman-Superman, Action Comics, and Superman Unchained would all be incorporated with Superboy and SUpergirl tie in issues included when necessary.
OH SHIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTT
ABSOLUTELY SWEET BATMOBILE!

The interesting thing about S11 Lex is, even post memories, he was actually more like the canon comic Lex in being anti-Superman, versus the waffling disposition he was presented with during so much of the series run.
>>88205850
fuckin sick
>>88206360
>S11 Lex is, even post memories, he was actually more like the canon comic Lex in being anti-Superman, versus the waffling disposition he was presented with during so much of the series run.
I could not agree more. His final conversation with Tess left him bitter, angry, confused, no memory of past events, and most importantly alone in every sense of the word, and in the span of 6 months had managed to miraculously reinvent himself as the world irreversibly transitioned to the superhuman age.
And thus concludes the second Smallville thread! We're already more than a fourth of the way through the first and largest story arc in all of Season 11. After the first series each successive arc would equate to 6 regular sized issues which is basically perfect for trades.
>>88206499
Thanks, Bro! Such a great choice!
>>88200921
>What a nice guy.
Yup.
Although it's the kind of thing Bruce used to frequently do before they decided he had to be a gruff emotionless paranoid douche canoe. Such as moving the Kent's name to the top of the list for the apartment Lois liked before their wedding, etc.
>>88201096
>Somebody save ... <hurk>
>>88206499

>>88202067
>street level
Late '80s, early 90s Superman had plenty of this.
>>88202180
>>88202194
So even in this verse, Batman's sidekick still has a major boner for Superman....
>>88203372
>Well, it's creepy so stop
>>88203674
>part of what makes me awesome, but I digress
They need to bring this part of Lois back into canon, pre-52 Lois used to say things like, "I have everyone's phone number" and it wasn't due to Oracle or Watchtower or other relationships related to Clark.
>>88205018
You'd be story timing every day for a good year to do all that. The Cross World's arc of B/S is excellent and should be story timed more. I'm surprised when the Superman appreciation threads come up how the people who really didn't like Superbro weren't aware of some of the really excellent things in this run. The Phantom King arc is also excellent although there are some choices the writing team made that I wouldn't agree with - they were just plot contrivances/conveniences.
I've been wanting to re-read Superman Unchained again so that should be done. SM/WW seemed to mostly be used for cross-overs and didn't really have much on it's own. And none of the Superman main title book was ever really interesting, sadly. There were too many painful cross-over stories like H'el and Krypton Returns, not to mention Superdoomed.
Someone recently did all the Morrison Action run, not that it shouldn't be done again.
Lois and Clark from Convergence to Arrival would be interesting, because again, people aren't following it as much as they should, sort of treating Superdad as if he came, fully formed, from the 2011 stories to Rebirth. I just re-read Convergence because I'm about to tackle the Arrival trade.
>>88199419
Is it still going?
>>88200602
>we can't punch our way out of this one
Why not?
>>88200852
Clark doesn't need to sleep? This is news to me. That differentiates him from every life form known to man. I don't like it.
>>88200999
>>88201015
This dialogue is about as enthralling as a recipe.
>>88209493
The storytimes yes - the digital first comics finished a few years back. They were just on sale on Comicology but that ended. You can find them on line or at your LCS.
>>88209793
Actually, several iterations of canon (comic) Clark have not needed to sleep (or breath every second the way a normal human body does), or eat. I don't specifically remember them saying it during the run of Smallville. It's also not, as I recall, in the Donnerverse or any live action Superman, except possibly the early tv serials, but I doubt it, since they made him out to be fairly normal as Clark Kent otherwise.
It's really no different than say Steve Rogers can go without sleep for more than a normal (non-enhanced) human being. I'm sure there are other examples.
>>88209911
>Clark have not needed to sleep (or breath every second the way a normal human body does), or eat.
Someone remind me again why his species evolved to look identical to humans and not something radically different.
>>88206499
Thanks.
>>88208350
Mom Lois is absolutely holding her own over in Superman. Gotta love her climbing into the Hellbat to save her kid.
>>88208454
I feel like Superbro definitely deserves his spot in the DC Universe and I feel like he's quickly on the way to be discarded and never seen again. This was a younger/cockier Supes that had to grow up significantly faster than his other incarnations. The amount of growth he went through in just a few years was nothing short of astounding.
So after I finish Smallville, I'll use the next thread as the basis for much of Post Crisis Superman's history (meaning I'd probably move Millar's Superman up). ANd then once I get a sufficient number of stories under my belt I can transition to the gigantic undertaking of Superbro. I'll start with his history and continue to Tomasi's current run with all of the necessary middle issues and tie-ins I can find. At some point I'll post my suggested reading order for SuperBro and I'd like to get some thoughts on it.
ALSO BUMP!
